A brief history of her
The shell was built by Equinox and then fitted out by a professional boat fitter/carpenter, a boat survey was conducted on the completion of the build by the current owner in 2008 prior to purchase.
She was originally a traditional boat and was converted in 2016 to a semi-traditional boat when she was also taken back to bare steel and repainted, had a bow thruster fitted, and was two-packed on the bottom along with new anodes.
She has been re-blacked with two pack in 2022 with a weed cutter being fitted to the propeller shaft at the same time.
The John Dorman 3LA was subject to a rebuild in 2016 and has completed just 385 hours since.
Walk through the boat
Walking on from the bow with Gas locker to fore, deck locker with bow thruster access under and storage above, through steel doors with port holes into the galley, Plenty of light provided by the pigeon box above, wooden work surfaces with stainless steel sink with drainer to starboard, fridge under, cooker and hob to port, there is plenty of storage in cupboards and drawers, through to saloon area, again plenty of light coming in with another pigeon box above and two side hatches, Free standing table providing a dining option, sofa bed, and a multifuel stove (running a back boiler for hot water and a radiator in the bedroom), through corridor with bathroom off, small bath with shower over, vanity basin and a vacuum toilet with two cassettes, through to engine room with a John Dorman 3AL taking pride of place linked to a PRM260, onto a shaft with a 21” Axiom propeller, The engine has an electric power take off from the crank driving a 24 volt 200 amp generator to the batteries. Plenty of light from the pigeon box above and hatches on either side, through to the rear bedroom with a fixed double bed with storage below, through steps, and out to the semi-traditional stern with tonneau cover over.
